STROLL IN THE GARDENS II

Today we revisit the Adelaide Botanical Gardens, bounding North Terrace.

We all make our own way to the gardens, meeting at the Amazon Lily Pavillion at 10:30.

Here we meet our two tour guides (gold coin donation). We first go into the Pavillion to view the lily.

Our group divides in two, and our guide leads us to the Wollemi Pine - rare, and this speciman looking a little stressed.

Whether or not you prefer taking a guided tour, it is indisputable that from a guide you see and learn much that would otherwise be missed.

Our guide gives us the choice of walking through the Conservatory, so of course we agree!

At midday we leave our guide and proceed to the central kiosk for a light lunch. We have an accompanying puppy (in a basket) who enjoys the occasion!

The kiosk has arranged a special long table for our group.

Finally we depart, making our own ways home. It has been a very enjoyable outing.
