PLANTS AND ENHANCE

Today we visited the Virginia Nursery. Leaving the city we travel north up Port Wakefield Road, turning off at Virginia, and then taking the rather poorly sign-posted Gawler Road. The Nursery is a little way up on the right hand side and cannot be missed. It takes us about 50 minutes from the city.

There is a great deal to see in this vast complex, and we spend an hour exploring and getting our bearings ...

... before assembling at Doncho’s Restauarant for a meal. The food is tasty and quickly served; I am impressed with the efficiency and helpfulness of the staff.

After lunch we go our individual ways for an hour and a half, some examining the many attractive wares for sale ...

others looking at the vast array of plants ...

and others relaxing to discuss world issues!

There is much to see and buy at the Virginian Nursery, and a trip here makes for a very enjoyable outing.
