The ‘Kentish Arms’ is a charming hotel tucked away at the end of Stanley Street. It was originally built in the 1840s but then rebuilt in 1881. The exterior has nice decorative features, and some of the windows are etched with the hotel logo. Inside there is a wall with an old photograph, and a framed handwritten parchment with a potted history of the hotel’s early days.
