St Andrews is a large house in an elite area of North Adelaide dating from 1864. Its fine construction is apparent when viewed close up or from a distance. The wrought iron feature with the slate roof are reminiscent of the Mitchell Building of the University of Adelaide. A large stained glass window is set in the back wall.
