This delightful house was built ca 1902 for John Howell, a former governor of the Adelaide Gaol. We notice the attractive front gable and the side gable, and the very nice window treatments. At the back of the property is a special brass plate commemmorating the ‘Bishop‘s Garden’ belonging to Bishop Nutter Thomas who resided here between 1940 and 1954. |
