The Lion Hotel is an imposing corner building with a very clever ‘lion’ logo. It stands on the site of the old Lion Brewery which was built in the 1870s. Just back down Jerningham Street we find the old brewery buildings, including an impressive tower with a symbolic brewery weather vane on top! |
