This rather unimposing house in Stanley Street appears to have little to commend it; even the historic blue plaque fails to give any specific detail. But we note the rather characteristic chimney Here is another view: but it is a different chimney! This one belongs to what was presumably a gardener’s cottage fronting on to Old Street at the bottom of the property.
