The crossing of Geraldton Cathedral is surmounted by a dome. There is a round window below the dome in each ‘diagonal’ direction. These four windows depict the Four Evangelists with their symbols. Thus we have Matthew (angel), Mark (lion), Luke (ox) and John (eagle).
