The West window of St John the Divine is the largest rose window in the United States. The window, which is the fifth largest in the world, was constructed out of 10,000 pieces of stained glass. At its centre is Jesus, surrounded by New and Old Testament prophets, as well as sixteen angels. Below the large window, there is a smaller rose window, just above the West door. The lower window has a complex pattern featuring a seven-pointed star with the IHS logo for Christ in the centre.
