In 1980, I had the [same] operation, having the mitral valve replaced by a sintered carbob valve, an dfortunately am still alive nd kicking. This reinforces a pet theory of mine that the mitral valve wealness is inherited. [See James, Clifford, Dulcie FOREMAN]
One of Fred's first gifts to Alice May was a piano, and she also had a reed organ. It was the type with bellows worked by the feet. Perhaps that started my love of the organ. [Notes by Ted CARLIER 1988]
