Frederick was living at 88 Surrey Lane, Battersea, England in 1924. He writes of four married sons: two in Australia – one in Sydney and the other fruit farming about 50 miles from Melbourne, and the other two in Battersea. The Victorian son has two children; one in Battersea has a boy getting on for 2 years of age. The other in Battersea is expecteg after 4 years of marriage. He has three girls at home, the youngest is 23 and one is engaged. Three sons were in the war: an Australian son was wounded 3 times; the two Battersea sons came through safely. Fred worked for Mr Northcroft at Woolwich for 3 1/2 years before coming back to Chelsea and starting his own workshop business. Youngest son, 21, works with him. Mentions Uncle John, died ~1908.
Frederick died from a fall from a ladder. Death date is possibly 7th June, according to a letter from daughter Florence. Interred in Streathan Cemetery Grave # 899E. [In Memorium]
