Alice Augusta was born in Hammersmith, Middlesex. She married James HAMBLIN. Their children were:

Ernest James b. 1/7/1890 Cookham(?) d. 4/10/1917
Edith Alice b. 15/9/1891 Cookham d. 1893
Ada Margaret b. 14/8/1895 Cookham d. 13/12/1988 (Auckland)
Helena Kate (Kit) b.8/1/1900 Walton on Thames. Lives in Auckland.

Stephen and Ernest came out to NZ on their own; the parents followed with Ada and Kit. Ernest James was killed in action. Alice settled in Auckland, NZ and died in NZ. [May DAVIS, Thelma SCOTT]
