There is no record of a marriage, although her name on Eleanor's birth certificate is given as DAVIS. She had four children with William, during which time they moved to Taradale, NZ. After William's untimely death Ann became housekeeper to and then married Octavious BOUSFIELD. With hime she had five more children, one dying while still a baby. After Octavious died, Annie wrote a letter saying she had been teaching some Maori girls to crochet. A photograh exists of one Charles O'Brien - father or brother? In any case, Charles William was named after him.
