Known as'Robert DODGSON of Roanstrees', he was the author of 'History of the Dodgsons' – an almost complete cover of the ARMSTRONGS and their associated families. Robert and a nephew, John, were both members of a Presbyterian group who broke away from the Church of England Dodgsons of Dodgsontown.
