In 1901 census he is a cashier still living with his family now at 23 Danes Drive Scotstoun.
He died aged 90 at 23 Danes Road or in ambulance between there and Western Infirmary , causes Consistemt with natural causes, senility, myocardial degeneration seen after death by John Warren MB. Informant Charles Watson nephew of 13 Avenue Closse, Baie Comeau, Province of Quebec.
