The rather grand 1850 North Adelaide Hotel, now trading as the Daniel O’Connell Hotel, has a gracious entry. There is a stained glass bar window (looking outwards) and an old framed historical note and advertisement in the hall. The enclosed back garden contains an ancient pepper tree.
