Ann (or as Registered Anna) Daughter of John Dodgson and Ann Routledge his Wife. Born at Grahamsonset April the 19th 1794 was Married on or about June the 8th 1814 at Bewcastle Church by the Reverend John Graham, Rector to Thomas Armstrong [R] Farmer at Snouts Bewcastle (Married by Licence 11 June, 1814 [Bewcastle B.Ts}) who was Born at Hethersgill Parish of Kirklinton, Cumberland on or about December the 19th 1790. (1789. December 16. Thomas son of Mathew Armstrong of Ash, Husbandman and Ann his wife late Mason bap.[Kirklinton B.Ts]). He was Second son of Mathew Armstrong Owner of Snouts and Ann Mason his wife. (There is a burial of an Ann Armstrong from Walton at Bewcastle on 20/1/1883; she was aged 88 which would be consistent with the above date of birth of Ann Dodgson.) Thomas Armstrong and Ann Dodgson his wife have issue Twelve Children – Four Sons and Eight Daughters whose Register of Births are exactly copied from the Knowe Meeting House Register of Births and Baptisms (list follows).
