Misc. Notes
Olive had an extremely good soprano vioce, and she sang at beach missions accompanied by her father on the auto-harp. She also sang many solos in the Walmer Baptist Church choir. She would often take the obligato part of an anthem. During World War I, Olive was in the Women's Royal Naval Service, and worked as a cook in the Officers' Mess from 25th March 1918. It was a happy family. Family holidays were taken in Wales and Torquay in the family car.

Clipping: Congratulations. A very large congregation assembled at the wedding of our friends Mr and Mrs A. W. Evans on May 31st, and their fellow choir members made a beautiful musical service possible.
