Misc. Notes
Polly BOON and Frederick SEERS married and eventually went to India. He had trained at Kew Gardens, London, in horticulture, and became a tea-planter when in India. All but one of their family were born out there, near Bombay, but the first one, Victor, was a baby when they went abroad, and too young to take to a hot climate. He was left with her mother and she brought him up, and when grown up, he went to Canada. The others: Wilfred, distinguished himself in 1st World war, and was killed in action, and was posthumously awarded recognition of his bravery. Then came Winnie, Bertha, and Dorothy who died young. Bertha was only in her twenties when she died. Winnie, during the last War was living in S.E. London, but I completely lost touch with her after Aunt Annie died. If still living, she would be close to 90. [Doris SALISBURY]
