On 7 January 1861 the wedding of Caroline Rumbelow to John Rymill Cakebread, was solemnized at The Tabernacle Church by the Rev R. W. Newland. Caroline was described as the daintiest of the Rumbelow sisters, the fourth of the seven daughters. She was just seventeen at the time of her marriage, but her sisters Sophia and Mahalia had been married before they were twenty too. …
