Marriage, Source: Settlers around the Bay - Laube; Gants of Lincolnshire website.
Sophia RUMBELOW, the second daughter of the original family, married William ROBINSON in November 1865, a young farmer. Seven children were born: Addison, Alice, Jane, Elizabeth, William, Mary and John. However, in May 1870, William ROBINSON was riding home to Inman Valley, accompanied by his farmhand Albert Dyson, when about a mile from his home he was thrown from his horse onto the road. Albert Dyson ran to John GLASSENBURY's for help, and John with his brother Fred, helped him to their house and sent for Mrs RUMBELOW senior and the doctor. Dr Motherall ordered the injured man to be taken to the RUMBELOW's home where it would be warmer, but informed the family that there was little hope. William ROBINSON died three days later aged forty-three.
