Misc. Notes
Birth : Miriam FOREMAN; Family Bible. Marriage : Miriam FOREMAN. Death: Paul SCOTT.

In Boulder we lived in a timber and canvas whitewashed house with a bare iron roof in which conditions were almost unbearable. Water was delivered once a week in a square iron tank on a horse drawn vehicle and was used with extreme care. While MM took the children to SA for a holiday, Arthur built anew house, and here I grew up. After WWI I shook hands with the Prince of Wales (Edwrad VIII)! When I was 20 the family returned to SA and I soon found work with a tailor in the city, and became friendlywith some girls who took me to Goodwood Baptist where I met Cliff FOREMAN. All the children were born in the Norman Tce house. [Miriam FOREMAN] After Cliff's death, Miriam continued to live with Audrey at Norman Tce, moving in 1979 to 2/35 Penfold Rd, Magill. She was a sweet natured, gentle person with a strong faith, who endured much sadness in her married life. Late in life she was leading a ladies' Bible study. She was responsible for the naming of theTrinity Baptist Church. Her initial occupation gave her great sewing skills, which she kept active throughout her life. A large number of people attended her funeral. [Margaret FOREMAN]
