Misc. Notes
Birth: May DAVIS (Sep or Oct?).
In 1943 the SCOTT family visited Lewis and Fanny in Osier Rd, and Fanny spent ages unsuccessfully trying to get Paul to talk. Fanny was intrigued.
After Lewis died, Fanny moved back to Napier. Fanny was into colour therapy. She never ate anything without first holding a suspended button over the food (anti-clockwise = good; clockwise = bad!). Fanny never made her bed until it was time to get into it: it had to be aired all day. Fanny thought her side of the family was better than the DAVIS side; she took on 'airs'.
Granny SCOTT lived with the family for a while, before moving in with the DAVIS family; this was after Mortimer had gone to Auckland.
